Amy L. Korth
Amy grew up in Minneapolis as a city kid and today lives rurally on a farm. This contrast has given her a deep appreciation for how place shapes people’s experiences and perspectives. Naturally introverted and introspective, she has always grounded her work in close listening, careful observation, and a genuine desire to understand others.
Over the years, she has honed this skill through organizing and participating in hundreds of meetings with groups from 2 to 500 people. Amy is a nationally registered dietitian with over 15 years of experience in public health, facilitation, partnership building, and systems-focused strategy. As a former founding director of healthTIDE, a statewide network in Wisconsin focused on physical activity and healthy eating, her career has focused on healthy communities and prevention work, coordinating multiple, multi-level efforts to improve policies, systems and environments that influence individual and population health.
She has high emotional intelligence and often brings a quiet, analytical perspective to complex issues, always centering the wisdom and strength that people carry through their lived experience.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys life outdoors with her husband and son — snowboarding, camping, traveling, and savoring good food. A true Minnesotan at heart, she remains an avid lover of snow and all things winter.
